Self-Defence Classes in Rayners Lane

About Self-Defence

Physical combat may not come naturally to a lot of people, but self defence is more about a state of mind than body strength. You don't have to be an aggressive person, but it is important to be aware of your surroundings, think ahead and avoid hazardous situations.

Our training is designed for the everyday person. You do not need to have any martial arts experience, just a willingness to learn to protect yourself. It is well suited as a self-defence for women as size and strength are not important issues.

Many real life attacks begin with a grab, either to pull you off balance or to move you away. Students learn to defend against many different grabs, usually starting with the wrists and progressing to being gripped by both hands and then on to punches.

Club and Self-Defence Training

Club runs a mixed class with separate changing facilities. The classes are quite social affairs and training partners are encouraged to help each other with fair practice and advice.

Training partners are changed frequently so you won't be stuck with one person all night. Our students work at their own pace during the training sessions and no one is forced into doing anything they are not comfortable with.

A Group of experienced instructors at Pinner Aikido Club London can help you achieve self-defence skills, self-esteem, confidence, and fitness.
