Pinner Aikido Club London - About Us
Pinner Aikido Club London is a part of the Kai Shin Kai International Traditional Aikido Association (KSK), which is a member of the British Aikido Board (BAB).(The BAB is recognised by Sports England as the only regulating body for Aikido in the UK).
Kai Shin Kai International presently has some 20 aikido dojos within the UK and others in the USA and Italy.
Here at Pinner Aikido Club London, we try to make the dojo environment relaxed and fun. This helps to foster a happy and friendly club - making it easy to join in and learn.
Pinner Club has been running since 1995. We moved in September 2006 to larger premises in Eastcote but still retain the name "Pinner" club as we have become known by that name and Eastcote is near to Pinner. Hopefully, this doesn't cause any confusion although we are now situated very close to Eastcote underground station.
By following the Pinner Aikido Club London path you will learn how to bring together the mind and the body to achieve your goals, be it weight loss, getting fit or boosting confidence and social skills. The Pinner Aikido Club London instructors are all highly qualified (Our senior club instructor has over 25 years of Aikido experience.), well trained and motivated to help you get where you want to be by learning and practicing aikido. The philosophy is simple; "Everyone can learn and develop their bodies and minds by learning martial arts to achieve self-defense skills, self-esteem, confidence, and fitness in a relaxed, exciting and fun way."
